There are two different kinds of cells in a tree —
those that grow towards the light and those that grow away from the light. Those that grow towards the light become branches and leaves and fruit and flowers. Those that are predisposed to grow away from the light become roots. The places I have found God in my life have helped me grow towards the light. And the times where all seemed dark and I could not find God — well, those experiences have helped me to grow deep roots. |
